Rosalia
Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is Rosalia Vila, also known as Rosalia, is a Spanish flamenco and pop singer. Since her teenage years the singer is a part of popular music as well as flamenco. Her music also strays into other styles like hip-hop soul or Trap. Flamenco musician Pepe habichuela describes her voice as sweet and sharp, however she still full of the intensity and abrasions of more experienced singers. Her debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned her an Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist the follow-up album for 2018 El Mal Querer was a significant commercial and critical success topping the Billboard Latin Pop Albums chart and finally earning the Grammy. In 2021, the hit single La Fama with The Weeknd came out. Motomami was her third full-length album. It was a collection of collaborations writing songs with many performers and artists, among them Cory Henry. In March 2022 the set was introduced following the SNL's appearance on Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia has been the only Spanish artist to sing solo on the show. Motomami is her album, which won the three Latin Grammy Awards also made Rosalia the first female artist to have an award for Latin Album of the Year award twice.
