Christopher Robert Evans (born June 13, 1981) is an American actor from the United States. His television career began with performances, such as Opposite Sext in 2000. After starring in various film for teenagers, including Not Another Teen Movie in 2001, he gained acclaim for playing the Marvel Comics Character the Human Torch. Evans also appeared in the film adaptations of comic books as well as graphic novels, including TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim against. the World (2010) as well as Snowpiercer (2013). His portrayal of Steve Rogers/Captain America appeared in Captain America: The Winter Soldier in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014 in 2015,), Captain America: Civil War (2016) and Avengers: Infinity War (2018) along with Endgame 2019. The latter brought him increased fame. He became one of the highest paid actors worldwide due to his role in the Marvel series.
